This film explains what happened to Archibald the parrot after the fisherwoman appeared

The text at the end of the film

In that dead hour of darkness before dawn
Whither the tangled and diverging paths might lead
In diverse sufferings for the name of parrot
And murderers and divers evil men
Pride and hot envy and cold greed
And talks of death
Where cold grey waters lie
And faces cold or cruel
And voice less cold and heavy with death’s doom
Beside the earth-cold figure of her child
As cold and cavernous as the eye of death
Grave they dug so deep
Shall plumb the deeps of life and know the strain
Rolling through deeps of wheeling cloud and light
Where the mounded drifts lie soft and deep in the noiseless solitudes
From fields far off whose watery hollows gleam
I can see the ocean rippled
The ocean flash
hear his harmless roar.
Makes it mad, or makes it grim.

The Pride he dug so deep
Shall face dead hours of darkness beforeĀ  dawn
And his cavernous eye of death
Makes them see the ocean rippled
Then its mad, or makes it grim.
From cold grey waters you
hear tangled and diverging paths lead to
Graves through hot envy and cold greed
Oceans and divers…evil men
In talks with death
Where they less cold and heavy with death’s doom?
Rolling ther’e sufferings for the name of the parrot
Whither cold mounded drifts lie soft and deep in the noiseless solitudes
And… and… harmless roar.
And plumb cold or cruel murderers weep of wheeling cloud and light
Voice the deep life and know the strain
I diverse flash
Beside fields far off whose watery hollows gleam
In the earth-cold figure of her child
